Give your senses a treat in our two market halls and have a rich cultural experience. The market will feature many

permanent merchants who will offer a growing list of market specialties year round. Fresh from the oven delights,

hand roasted coffee, mouth watering meals to fresh cut flowers, gourmet and prepared foods; that is a wide selection

of foods at Paradise Village Center. You will find us your kind of place if you are looking for high quality Connecticut

products to use in your kitchen; delicious delights for a meal outdoors or also as a gift of specialty foods for you to

enjoy in your home for lunch, dinner or a late night snack. We will be open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch

and dinner or for a weekend brunch. There will be several indoor/outdoor restaurants for comfortable dining.

 

There will also be non food tenants offering interesting products and services!

    

     We are located at the corner of Dixwell Avenue and Mather St. Mather St. connects Hamden's two busiest streets;

(Dixwell and Whitney Avenue). Whitney Ave connects Hamden with New Haven. WE ARE ALSO  JUST ONE

BLOCK AWAY FROM THE NEW HOME DEPOT ON DIXWELL AVENUE.

 

     Come visit us and experience the sounds and life of our food market. You will see and smell fresh breads being

baked. You will taste exotic foods, and believe you in a quaint European village; sampling the specialties of different

food vendors lunching on different ethnic foods; noshing on gelato, pastries and other savory desserts. You will see

 the freshest fruits and vegetables; you will choose from many specialty foods which you can eat inside the market

or take home. Our main market hall will feature big open spaces with several dozen vendors housed under a twenty-

six foot high timber framed ceiling. An adjoining market hall will add many additional exciting vendors and there will be

seating for those who want to leisurely enjoy their dining experience and become a part of the action in the market.

    

     At our market, you can watch the vendors selling their goods and shoppers choosing produce delivered daily

straight from the farm and field. There will be fresh seafood, breads and pastries still hot right out of the oven; meats

and cheeses fresh from Connecticut farmers; ice cream and dairy products and Connecticut specialty foods. Sit and

relax in the market at one of our cozy tables and you will enjoy a combination of sounds, sights and smells. Enjoy

our indoor and outdoor fountains; interact with people who are browsing and shopping at the different food kiosks.

Watch vendors cooking and serving mouth watering specialty foods; Experience all the market has to offer.

    

     You will see vendors offering basic items such as chicken, beef, turkey, lamb and pork. In our fish kiosk, you will

be able to choose from smoked seafood, clams, lobster and other Connecticut seafood. You will experience baked

goods including whole grain loaves and enticing breads made with organic flour milled at the bakery and hearth

baked breads. Sweet rolls, cookies, pies and cakes are available at several kiosks. You will see award winning

cheesecakes and specialty cakes with exotic names.  If you are in the mood for a meal right at the market, you will

be able to choose from authentic Italian favorites, Mexican specialties, Soup and Sandwich kiosk, Deli style

favorites, Middle-Eastern delights, Japanese and Chinese cuisine, Greek and Turkish delicacies and

good old American treats. There will be several restaurants within the market. Dishes will include the freshest

in-season products made from local ingredients found in the Market. There will also be wood-burning and

rotisserie ovens.

     

      You will see scattered throughout the Market, kiosk offering flowers, wines, beer, custom spice blends, nuts and

exotic cheeses and other diary products. The Market will become famous for Connecticut specialty food items, such

as jams and jellies, maple syrup, stone-ground mustard, pickles, relishes, pancake mixes and other items made the

old fashioned way. Strengthen your cooking with sauces of every description, from BBQ and steak sauce to stir-fry

sauce and  honey Dijon roasting grill sauce to name just a few. Our Market will specialize in Italian food products; from

mouth watering pasta to Ravioli and Pizza with al kinds of sauces; spices and seasonings; olive oils, vinegar and

luscious pastries and desserts.
